- Password (stored in encrypted form — we never see it in plain text)
Job & Business Data
- Customer names, addresses, and contact information you enter
- Job details: scope of work, measurements, notes, photos
- Estimates, invoices, and payment records you create
- Insurance claim information and supplement documentation
- Crew schedules and assignments
Device & Usage Information
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and usage patterns (to improve the product)
- Crash reports and error logs
Location Data
The app may request access to your device's location to assist with job site navigation and address lookup. Location access is optional and can be disabled in your device settings at any time.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To sync your job data across your devices and team members
- To generate estimates, invoices, and reports
- To send you account-related notifications (e.g., password resets)

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the app (cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting) under strict data processing agreements.
- QuickBooks integration: If you connect your QuickBooks account, job and invoice data is shared with Intuit according to their privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new entity, which will be required to honor this policy.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers (Railway / Supabase infrastructure) with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@truescopepro.app.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and job data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

The app may include links to third-party services (e.g., QuickBooks, Google Maps). These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
